Each year children are injured or killed in car safety seats. This is because the seats are defective or not installed properly. A child in a motor vehicle involved in a crash can only be protected in a safety seat if it is installed properly.

To have an officer inspect your child’s safety seat, and show you how to install it properly, contact the Department at 508-763-4017 or email Sgt Scott Rose at:
srose@freetownma.gov
